WOW! I’m seriously so happy and overjoyed to finally be able to share a glimpse of Planet Planted with you!
More than a year ago, my team and I began working on this website and it turned out to be a much bigger project than any of us anticipated.
When we began, I knew that I wanted to create more than just a website for you…I wanted to create an experience. My goal was to virtually transport you to The Rootlets world so that you could
stroll down scroll through the street of VeggieVille and see where The Rootlets live, work, learn and play. I didn’t want you to just read about our world, I wanted you to feel a part of it…because you are!

Bringing this vision to life through computer screens, reader-friendly tablets and mobile devices was definitely harder to execute than it was to imagine.
It challenged us, frustrated us at times and pushed us all beyond what we thought we were capable of.
Brainstorming VeggieVille’s functionality
But we did it! We dreamt it, drew it, designed it, planned it, programmed it, tweaked it, developed it, tweaked it some more and then we launched it…and I personally could not be more proud!

It was a big job, but this website is just the very beginning. We’ve got so much more to share with you, both of our virtual world and our brand. We’ll be unlocking doors, opening rooms, introducing new characters and launching more products. And honestly, we couldn’t be more honored and excited to have you following along on our ad“veggie”ventures.
So, from the bottom of my heart…THANK YOU! I hope that you enjoy exploring our world and I hope that you love our new site as much as we do.
We’d love to know what you think in the comments below!
Lastly…a very HUGE thank you to Saul, Jeremy, Christina (& the entire Ukie team!), Julie, Tania and Erik for every ounce of enthusiasm, energy and effort you’ve poured into this project! Teamwork makes the dream work and I can’t thank you enough for your relentless dedication. It means the world to me!
